San Francisco Giants vs St Louis Cardinals Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Postseason NLCS Game 5

The San Francisco Giants have it all to do if they are to save their postseason on Friday night, as they prepare to do battle with the St Louis Cardinals in Game 5 of their playoff series. The Giants are behind 1-3 and another loss would end their postseason. The game is scheduled to start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via one of the two postseason packages listed below.

A 3-8 loss to the Cardinals on Thursday night see the Giants in a do-or-die situation for Game 5; they must win to force a game 6, and in fact must win all three potential remaining games if they are to make it to the World Series.

The one shining light for the Giants is that if they can pull off an unlikely win tonight the series moves back to San Francisco for Games 6 and 7, giving them the all important home advantage at AT&T Park, which could see them pull off a resounding comeback.

However, following their heavy defeat in Game 4 and their lack of offensive power in Game 3, it would remain likely that the Cardinals will complete their series win tonight and book their World Series spot.

At present all the momentum is with St Louis, and their fans, who will feel they already have one foot in the World Series, will be roaring their team on tonight in what will likely be an intimidating atmosphere for the Giants' players.

If the Giants are to win this do-or-die game they will have to quickly sort out their offense, which has been seriously blunted in the past two games by the Cardinals' pitchers. They will have to perform when they step up to the plate tonight or they will be on the bus home tonight with their World Series dreams over.
