Meanwhile, Rowan (Joe Morton) has a plan to bringing all three of them, Olivia, Jake and himself, inside the White House. This plan has been made possible through being the running mate of Millie.

Furthermore, Frankie's Vice Presidential mate is Cyrus (Jeff Perry) and this pairing has been a surprise for everyone.

What We Know So Far

For season 6, the show will then choose who the President will be between Millie and Franki Vargas. Whoever gets it through the race, will be the one in the White House and will have Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) out of the office.

Fitz will not be the President of the United States anymore and thus he will be going after Olivia to pursue his love interest.

However, on Olivia's part, it is believed that he will go for Jake. Jake on the other hand will make sure that Olivia knows he still exists in her life. All that he does in the show will be about making it work for Liv and himself.

In the meantime, Cyrus' campaign will be all by himself because it seems that all the people favor Jake over him.

In a report, Scott Foley who plays Jake Ballard's role shared some of the twists in the story. He noted that there were scenes that came to a shock for him. One of these was the Jake and Millie tandem for the political race. The other scene that he shared that is of great imprint for him was when Fitz confronted Live about their aborted child.

For the upcoming season, there will be a possibility of a love triangle between Jake, Liv and Fitz. Fitz will still pursue Olive and Olive will be choosing Jake over anybody else.

The sixth season will be talking about Rowan's plans. However, Millie already knows about the plan ever since but her main concern was to win the Presidential race.

With the show's rating during the fifth season finale, there has been no turning back in making it possible for Season 6. ABC President, Channing Dungey confirmed that the sixth season will be coming up and there has no talks yet of a final season.

The series will be back for its sixth season in 2017.
