Sharon Osbourne-Kim Kardashian Controversy Updates: 'The Talk' Host Claims She was Misquoted

After it was previously reported that she took a swipe at Kim Kardashian, Sharon Osbourne has finally addressed her earlier controversial statement, saying that she has been misquoted.

In her recent appearance on "The Talk," the 64-year-old Osbourne told her co-hosts that the situation she got herself into was ridiculous. Although the TV host and wife of Black Sabbath vocalist, Izzy Osbourne, stands by her earlier comment saying that Kardashian's nude selfies can never be equated to feminism, she said that she was misquoted by the outlet that published her interview.

"(The interviewer) asked my opinion and I gave it. It wasn't rude. She poses nude, she's very sexual in her clothes, and even her every day clothes, it's very sexual. Whatever she does, she's showing her body, which shows she's a strong, grounded woman and she's not ashamed of her body... it doesn't make you a feminist, it makes you someone who is a strong person, and confident with their body and wants to show it. But, that's not a feminist," Osbourne explained.

While Osbourne said that she was only answering a question, presumably if she thinks Kardashian's nude selfies are a form of feminism, she suggested that the way the article was presented made her appear that she just took a swipe at Kardashian out of nowhere, prompting the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star to retaliate by saying that she is not a feminist.

Meanwhile, Kardashian has also given her two cents on Osbourne's recent explanation. According to the reality star, she thinks that Osbourne's comments about her were based on the premise that she had said that she posts her nude photos in the name of feminism. As Kardashian maintains that she has never said something to that effect, she can't help but find the whole controversy ridiculous.

"So I think when people misquote you and then comment, it just sounds ridiculous," Kardashian told E! News.
