'Sherlock' Season 4 Is on Its Way

Watch out Sherlock fans, everyone's favorite-detective-slash-highly-functioning-sociopath is back in action atop a fishing boat together with his trusted-colleague-slash-friend-turned-best-friend in Cardiff. Since 2010, the highly acclaimed British-American crime series has been updating its season every two years. Every Sherlock fan knows that the struggle is real when it comes to their favorite show, itching for the latest news and updates on what their favorite duo, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, is up to.

Spotted in Cardiff Bay, Sherlock dressed in his usual long black detective coat was jumping from a smoke-filled fishing boat together with his 44-year-old silver-haired co-star Martin Freeman. Meanwhile, speculations about Sherlock's arch enemy James Moriarty (Andrew Scott) returning in Season 4 is what fans are excited about. Cumberbatch and Freeman said that the story is about to reach its climax.

"Sherlock series four – here we go again! Whatever else we do, wherever we all go, all roads lead back to Baker Street – and it always feels like coming home," the duo said in a statement. "Ghost of the past are rising in the lives of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson bringing adventure, romance and terror in their wake."

Fans will also get to see Dr. Watson being a father for the first time. In the second episode of Season 3 entitled "The Sign of Three," fans saw Sherlock being shocked to silence for the first time when Watson offered him to be his best man and when Watson married his real-life wife, Amanda Abbington, who plays Mary Morstan in the series.

To recall, Moriarty shot himself in Season 2, episode 3, entitled "The Reichenbach Fall." The episode also featured Sherlock jumping from the building, which caused everyone to believe he's dead. Season 4 will be back on the first month of 2017.
