'Sister Wives' Season 7 Premiere: Meri, Cody Celebrate 26th Anniversary Together; Christine and Janelle Back on the Show While Robyn Gives Birth to Ariella

"Sister Wives" stars Meri and Kody Brown spent some time together on a road trip to celebrate their 26th anniversary, with a series of tweets from the former throughout the trip. The two have had their troubles not just between them but also with other members of the polygamous family. But for the occasion, it appears that both have set aside their problems to concentrate on sharing moments of their 26th anniversary. And it looks like fans of the reality show may be seeing much of this two doing the same in the next season of the show, its seventh, which is set to air today, May 7, 2016.

"Happy anniversary @realkodybrown. So much life, so many experiences, so many memories! #26Years," reads Meri's tweet on April 21.

Notably, Meri and Kody had divorced in 2014 to accordingly give Kody a chance to legally marry Robyn, Meri's sister, who then became Kody's fourth wife. Despite that, the two, along with some of their children, went on with their road trip. It is their contention that their legal separation does not take away from their spiritual marriage. Besides, the couple also live together, so an anniversary is quite in order.

Meri had thanked Kody for the experiences they had together and for what she has learned from those. During their anniversary weekend on the road, the star of the reality show kept fans updated on what she and Kody were up to. The road trip was taken to catch a concert by Van Lady Love, which, Meri shares, she and Kody love. The two had a picture taken together with Van Lady Love as well as their friends.

The TLC star confirmed that the show will be back with its season seven premiere on May 8. Meri has been quite active on social media, besides the anniversary road trip updates. She has posted photos of Robyn's children which show she has kept in close touch with Robyn and her children despite rumors of friction between them.

Besides family stuff, Meri has also shared on her social media page an image of the show's poster that somehow proves that Christine and Janelle Brown will be back on the show.

This could mean that Christine and Kody's difficulties since the last season will be taken up in the upcoming run. Last season, the pair had gone through therapy to resolve their problems of estrangement. Christine had also felt that she did get as much support and attention as Kody's other wives.

She summed it up then with "I don't know if I care if it's perfect anymore or if it's what he wants anymore. It's just so much work."

Kody, the polygamous husband, had revealed on the show's blog site that he had not been attracted to Christine physically. He also admits that it would not be right to go into whether it was fair going into the relationship with that being true since they had children together. Then he sweeps it all away saying they have found their "sweet spot."

Still, it remains that they have had to go through therapy and seem far from admitting everything is now fine. So, fans may expect this issue to come up in the coming season.

It has been reported though that the show may focus more on Robyn and her upcoming delivery of Ariella, her second child with her new husband Kody.

It has been rumored that the family is trying to put up a happy front for the sake of their show, but that the reality it seems is that the Brown family still has a lot of work to do to fix their relationships.

Robyn's former friend Kendra Pollard-Parra shared with InTouch Weekly, "It's worse than ever. The family is arguing constantly. They pretend to be happy for the show, but the family is a mess."
