'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Mid-Season Finale Sees A New & Bigger Evil

The mid-season finale of Season 3 of "Sleepy Hollow" will set the stage for a bigger and mightier evil than Pandora, who will threaten the world when "Sleepy Hollow" returns on Feb. 5, 2016. This horrible evil, known as The Hidden One, will be brought by Pandora herself.

This episode of "Sleepy Hollow" is titled "Novus Ordo Seclorum," meaning "The Hidden One arrives." The synopsis states: "In the aftermath of Jenny and Joe's run-in with Sophie, Abbie is in deep water with Reynolds. Meanwhile, the Witnesses deal with lasting implications of the shard and find themselves in grave danger as they come face-to-face with a greater evil than they could have imagined."

Three things will drive this mid-season finale. One is the introduction of a super villain, The Hidden One, and the next is a cliffhanger for Jenny and Joe, especially Jenny. Jenny's troubles began when the Anubis Shard went inside her and started to possess her. According to the synopsis, her troubles will increase in this episode.

The last issue is that Abbie and Jennie's father will turn up. His arrival was foreshadowed in the previous episodes.

James McDaniel, an "NYPD Blue" alumni, has been cast as Ezra Mills, the estranged father of Abbie and Jenny. He had abandoned his family when the sisters were children and their mother was sent away to an institution. Now Ezra wants to be back as father to his daughters. There is family trouble as the sisters don't take kindly to this.

Will the sisters forgive their father?

Peter Mensah is cast as The Hidden One. How will Ichabod and Abbie stop this evil?

Jessica Camacho has joined the regular cast of "Sleepy Hollow" and will portray the role of a rogue in the shady world of artifacts wheeling-dealing. She had appeared as Sophie Foster and Jenny already had a brush-in with her.

With the rise of the new evil, The Hidden One, Season 3 of "Sleepy Hollow" seems to be set for an exciting next half that will launch on Feb. 5, 2016.
