The first episode of "South Park" Season 20, titled Member Berries, received major flak from a huge chunk of its audience population. The main issue was that the episode did not particularly depict a good and solid story. Some reviewers think that maybe this was due to creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker trying to make up for the lost time. The episode tried to catch up and tackle the issues that they have missed during the series break.

The "South Park" Season 20 episode 1 covered several storylines that unwittingly clashed with each other. There was the US Presidential Election, the "Black Lives Matter" movement, the Colin Kaepernick National Anthem controversy, online trolls, and Hollywood's partiality to movie reboots. However, the coherence and cohesiveness of the story suffered due to the 22-minute time limit.

'South Park' Season 20, Episode 2

The next episode of "South Park" Season 20 will be titled Skank Hunt. Episode 2 will follow the boys trying to prove Cartman's M.O. as an online troll, with the username skankhunt43. The official synopsis in the South Park Studios website also indicated that the next "South Park" episode will be tackling global terror as a featured element on the show.

There has also been some revelation that trolling on Twitter would still continue as an aspect of the 2nd episode of "South Park" Season 20. The creators are expected to turn things around with this episode, with fans hoping for a major turnaround as a saving grace for the previous episode's storyline fiasco.

'South Park' GIF Channel

There are also reports that South Park Studios, Viacom Labs, and Comedy Central have all collaborated with GIPHY. This partnership is supposed to release the first ever GIF channel for "South Park", in commemoration of the show's twentieth overall season on-air.

This channel will be featuring memorable moments in the entire run of "South Park" - in the form of GIFs. This move would allow social media platform sharing a lot easier and accessible for the show's fans.
