'Star Wars Rebels' Season 4 Spoilers, News: Ghost Crew Heads Back to Lothal

Lucasfilm and Disney have released new promotional images and clips for next week's episodes of "Star Wars Rebels" season 4, and it looks like the Ghost crew is heading back to Lothal.

As the Disney XD animated series heads toward the end of the story, more familiar locations are starting to show up, and its connections to "Star Wars: A New Hope" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" are getting stronger.

In the preview for episode 5 titled "The Occupation," Hera and Kanan are surprised to find a different Lothal from the one they had left. They also share a brief, intimate moment.

Meanwhile, in the preview for episode 6 titled "Flight of the Defender," Ezra and Sabine are teased to be running into a few problems as they try to steal a TIE Defender from the Empire.

During this week's two-part episode of "Star Wars Rebels" season 4 titled "In the Name of the Rebellion," viewers saw the Ghost crew reunited after Sabine, Ezra, and Kanan made a detour to Mandalore.

The first part of the episode picked up where the third season of the animated series left off, with the Rebel forces at the Yavin IV base, which now includes Phoenix and Hera since their Atollon base was previously destroyed by Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The episode continued with its second part, wherein Sabine, Ezra, and Chopper join Saw as he works on his investigation into the Empire's top-secret superweapon.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, it has been confirmed that the fourth and final season of "Star Wars Rebels" will not share a connection with next years Han Solo spin-off film titled "Solo: A Star Wars Story."

Executive producer Dave Filoni explained that the young Force user Ezra Bridger, who is the protagonist in "Star Wars Rebels," would not have anything to do with a character like Han Solo. Also, since they already got the chance to add in a Lando Calrissian cameo in the animated series before, adding some more familiar characters might make it look like a "variety show," according to Filoni.

"Star Wars Rebels" season 4 returns Monday, Oct. 30, with episode 5 titled "The Occupation" and episode 6 titled "Flight of the Defender" at 9 p.m. ET on Disney XD.
