'Street Fighter V' News – Trailer Shows New Tricks Of Dhalsim Plus 6 Characters For Season 2016

The release date for "Street Fighter V" has been announced at the Paris Games Week and it launches on February 16, 2016. Along with the release date, it was announced that iconic Yoga Master Dhalsim will be back, while Street Fighter V producer Yoshinori Ono announced that beginning 2016, there will be at least six new DLC characters that will be added to the fighting game.

Fans of "Street Fighter V" will be very happy to know that Dhalsim, the iconic Yoga master, is back to challenge other warriors with super new tricks that can be seen in the trailer. Dhalsim has more tricks with him this time rather than just flexing and stretching his muscles in the previous game, "Ultra Street Fighter IV."

Judging from the trailer, whose end part focused mainly on Dhalsim's new tricks, Capcom is sure they have a new challenger who will engage gamers for a long time. This time, warriors will have to beware of Dhalsim's arsenal of lingering projectiles, leg-twists that extend and crush the enemy, long-range thrusts and jabs plus teleporting. Dhalsim's previous V-Skill and V-Trigger have also been upgraded.

In the meantime, in the past months, there have been a lot of speculations amongst fans of this game as to who would be the two new characters that are entering the challenge in "Street Fighter V." But Capcom has surprised everybody by announcing six new additional characters for the 2016 season.

The names of these 6 new characters have not been revealed but Capcom has unveiled a mysterious silhouette image for players to guess who these could be.

These six characters can be unlocked through gameplay or through microtransactions. Another interesting condition for gamers who do not want to unlock the new characters through microtransactions is to keep on playing the game. Capcom had earlier said that the more gamers play, the more they'll be rewarded. This may also apply to the Street Fighter 5 gameplay DLC, says Gamespot.

For this, players will have to earn Fight Money by staying engaged in the game. Players can earn Fight Money rewards by levelling up their characters and completing the daily challenges. Capcom is adopting this strategy to encourage more online gaming.
