3D World will also bring back Princess Peach and Toad as playable characters in a main Mario game since Super Mario Bros 2 for NES.

Super Mario 3D World hits the Wii U on Nov. 22 in North America, and is a follow up to Super Mario 3D Land. Mario will also be found in Mario Kart 8, set for release in April 2014, and in Super Smash Bros 4, coming early 2014.

The Mario Party: Island Tour trailer showcases the duel screen functionality of the 3DS as pertaining the game.

In the trailer four children are seen standing and all competing against each other as they all view the same screen on their 3DS.

The game boasts seven new game boards, 80 new mini games and all new controls. However, it will not feature any online play.

Mario Party is expected to be released on Nov. 22, but it will be delayed until 2014 overseas. It will be the third version of the game to be on handheld.

The last installment, Mario Party 9, came out in 2012 for the Wii. It was the first game since 2007's Mario Party 8 for the Gamecube.

The first game arrived for the N64 in 1998 and was an instant hit as it took the "All-stars" of the Super Mario series and pitted them against each other in a battle of wit, puzzles, and patience.
