Nintendo Switch owners who pre-ordered "Super Mario Odyssey" can now pre-load the game.
Fans of "Super Mario" games can now pre-load "Super Mario Odyssey" after placing a pre-order on the game at the price of $59.99. Pre-loading ensures that those who pre-ordered the digital copy of the game can receive it once it arrives.
The pre-loading feature of the game was made available as a part of the most recent Nintendo Switch update, which introduces the video capture support and a "Super Mario Odyssey" icon for the Nintendo Switch profile page.
The pre-load of "Super Mario Odyssey" requires 5.2 GB of space.
Meanwhile, although "Super Mario Odyssey" is yet to be released, those who have been privileged to play the game in advance have given their nod to it. According to reports, the game has gotten an almost perfect rating from Famitsu after getting 39/40 review score.
Breaking down the overall rating, the first 10/10 was given by a reviewer after the game's fresh capture abilities, Joy-Con controls, and surprises at each stage all successfully fell on his good graces. The second perfect rating, on the other hand, came from a reviewer who liked the "Super Mario Odyssey" for almost the same reasons that the first reviewer has.
The third reviewer, meanwhile, also had the same reasons with the first two reviewers for giving the game a perfect 10 review. Additionally, though, the incognito critic also liked "Super Mario Odyssey's" map design and the game's impressive way of balancing originality and comfort.
The fourth reviewer, who gave the game a 9/10 rating, also liked "Super Mario Odyssey's" features that are revealed after clearing the game, and pointed out that the game's 2D sections are original.
"Super Mario Odyssey" arrives tomorrow, Oct. 27, and will be released alongside Assassin's Creed: Origins" and "Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus."
