'Supernatural' Season 11 News, Cast, Spoilers: The Winchesters Are Set to Kill Amara as Crowley Adjusts to Paternal Role

The Winchesters are veterans when facing the unknown in the longtime-running series "Supernatural." However, this season is proving to be their most challenging yet especially when information about their latest ancient foe is virtually nonexistent. Although Sam (Jared Padelecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) may be coming to battle more unprepared than usual, it hasn't stopped them from going after The Darkness, as the latest promotional video shows the boys announcing that they're set on killing Amara, the physical form of The Darkness.

According to the synopsis released by Spoiler TV, one of the people that Castiel will resort to asking for help with the Winchester's mission is none other than the scribe of God, Metatron. However, when Castiel approaches him, he refuses to be sucked back into the mayhem as he claims to be satisfied leading a life of freelance photography for a local TV station. As the official promo video for the episode shows, Metatron's refusal may force the Winchesters to physically "convince" him in joining their mission.

The episode entitled "Our Little World" will also focus on Crowley (Mark Sheppard) adjusting to his new paternal role in Amara's life. The short clip shows Crowley trying to ground Amara, and claims how fatherhood can change someone. Although fans already know that Crowley used to have a son, perhaps having a daughter will give him a different perspective. Of course now that Crowley has taken on new responsibilities for Amara's welfare, it can be epxected that the hot-and-cold alliance between him and the Winchesters will definitely cool down permanently as he protects the one person Sam and Dean are out to kill.

Aside from this, fans can also expect to learn more about the visions Sam has been having. Jensen Ackles previously revealed in an interview with TV Line that Sam will be "exploring" them and he will be "trying to figure out who's talking to him and what they mean." Ackles shares, "He takes it upon himself to go there without Dean, and it leaves me in the dust. Then, of course, Dean has to follow, [which leads to] some interesting alliances."

The next episode of "Supernatural" season 11 airs on Nov. 11.
