Matchup Preview

The New York Giants want to redeem themselves after losing a thriller in New Orleans versus a very young team that tries to rid itself of a forgettable season last year. The Bucs are currently at 3-4, but don't count them out just yet against the Giants that sport a not-so-ideal record itself at 4-4. In fact, the win against the previously unbeaten Falcons is morale boosting for the boys in Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay is relying on quarterback Jameis Winston, who is currently playing his best season so far, especially in the previous three games. Drew Brees of the Saints didn't have a difficult time against the Giants defense, so Winston is expected to dominate in this one.

For the Giants, Eli Manning is playing well, especially against the Saints the last time out, but the team's defense is just horrendous. A good sign, though, is that defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is expected to play in this game after returning to practice. However, it should be pretty unfair to expect him to play a big role in this one, although he did had a great performance in the last five games he played before the fireworks-related injury.
