Portwood reportedly violated terms of her probation, which included failure to behave well in society concerning her heavy drinking, and an alleged assault, according to TMZ.

The troubled mother was initially convicted of domestic violence against Shirley and sentenced to two years in jail, but the judge agreed to a suspended sentence on the condition that she adheres to strict probationary terms.

While it is unclear why the judge issued a warrant for Portwood's arrest, sources suspect it relates to her probation violations.

The couple has a 3-year-old child together named Leah, and she is believed to be with her father at this time.

The controversial reality show follows the lives of vulnerable and pregnant teenage girls, who all share their emotional transition from teenager to mother after becoming pregnant. The show has received major criticism, with many accusing the show of glorifying teen pregnancy.
