'The Bastard Executioner' Season 1 Episode 8 Spoilers: Wilkin Joins Forces With Milus And Toran In Search For A Fugitive
The last episode of FX's hit medieval drama series from Kurt Sutter, "The Bastard Executioner," yet again saw Wilkin Brattle getting in too deep with the evil plans brewed by Chamberlain Milus Corbett.
The episode, which was called "Behold The Lamb" found Brattle executing an innocent man for a crime that he and Toran/Marshal had committed. Fans may remember that it was the duo who set ablaze the carriage of the Lady of Pryceshire in the later episodes.
It was Milus plan, after all, to wed Baron Edwin Pryce to the widow, Baroness Lowry Ventris. However, it backfired when Lady Love made it clear to Milus that she won't agree to the marriage.
Adding pressure to the situation is the fact that Windsor Castle is setting their eyes on the Baroness who claims to be carrying the late Baron's child. If she fails to prove her pregnancy, then Ventrishire will be taken away from her.
Ridden with guilt, Brattle meanwhile decided to confess to Lady Love about his true identity and the crimes he did. The latter, in turn, comes clean about her grave situation. The two confided to each other and sealed it up with a passionate kiss.
This week, "The Bastard Executioner" will return with an episode that will see Wilkin and Toran, once again working with Milus. The episode synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic specifically said that the trio will set out to "hunt down a fugitive."
Whoever that is, speculations suggest that this person might be in possession of information that could endanger each one of them if it gets out.
Although the summary is short and devoid of additional details, viewers might also find out in this episode the fate of Annora and the Dark Mute who, at the end of episode 7, are being watched by those who are after their body tattoos.
Find out how these events unfold when "The Bastard Executioner" Season 1 airs this Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 10 p.m. on FX.
