'The Blacklist' Season 3 Spoilers: Red Sets His Eyes on Alexander Kirk

Will Red succeed in exacting his revenge on Liz's killer?

Things are about to get even more intense as the third season of NBC's hit crime drama TV series "The Blacklist" draws to a close with a brand new episode that will get to see Red (James Spader) setting his sights on the person that took away Liz's (Megan Boone) life. However, his goal will be met with some unexpected obstacles. Will he succeed in exacting his revenge on Liz's killer?

The promo video dropped by the network gives a glimpse to some of the suspenseful moments that are to be expected in the season finale aptly titled "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion."

The clip shows Red getting more and more desperate to take down the titular character. It is quite apparent that he will allow nothing to bar him from succeeding to his goal, even if it is against the law. The next scenes show Red going on a hunter mode as he locates the enemy.

The video then cuts to show FBI Agent Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), one of Liz's friends who are also left devastated by her departure.

"Do you want a bullet on Kirk's head or one in mine?" Red asked. It doesn't take long for the latter to know the operative's answer as he aimed his gun at the sniper.

Although it's clear that Ressler wants to see Liz's killer dead, his duty as a man of the law may have prevented him from agreeing to Red's vengeful measure. The officer might prefer seeing Kirk get locked behind bars rather than be killed by Red. The question now remains, will Ressler be forced to shoot Red or will he let this happen?

Whether he likes it or not, Red is already determined to make Kirk pay with his blood.

The hour will also get to see Tom (Ryan Eggold) making his move to save his child. He can be seen boarding a private jet.

Don't miss the finale of "The Blacklist" Season 3 airing this Thursday, May 19 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
