'The Deuce' Season 1 Spoilers: The Twins Get an Offer; Candy Starts to Rethink Her Career Choice

When "The Deuce" season 1 returns for episode 5 on HBO, the characters are going to have to make tough decisions in their chosen careers.

The previous episode was an eventful one, but the next installment will not disappoint. According to the synopsis for episode 5, Rudy (Michael Rispoli) has a new business offer for the twins Vincent and Frankie (both played by James Franco). While one of them will initially not like the idea, Bobby (Chris Bauer) will try persuade Vincent to agree to it by using the possibility of generating more money.

On the other hand, Candy (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is going to consider changing her career as a sex worker after she was treated harshly by a client. While this person's identity is still vague, as of now, the episode 5 trailer shows her trying to escape from the man by using pepper spray on him.

In episode 4, viewers saw Candy's job starting to take an emotional toil on her. The long hours, the shady places, and especially going out with creepy men, is starting to tire her out.

Are these going to be enough to make her leave the world of prostitution?

It has also been teased that Paul (Chris Coy) will be exploring the exciting gay scene in New York, while Sandra (Natalie Pau) gets to score an interview with a pimp, all thanks to New York Police Department patrolman Alston (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.).

Elsewhere in the episode, Abby (Margarita Levieva) is going to be disappointed when Darlene (Dominique Fishback) comes back to New York with a new girl.

Who could this girl be? She appeared in the trailer, but it is not yet known how she is related to Darlene and why she is in the city. Is Darlene going to recruit her so that she can escape from her pimp, Larry (Gbenga Akinnagbe)?

"The Deuce" season 1 airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO.
