'The Flash' Season 1 News, Spoilers: The Gorilla Grodd Unleashed in 'The Grodd Lives'

The Reverse Flash's identity is already out in the open but Dr.Wells (Tom Cavanagh) won't go down without a fight and this time, the man from the future will unleash one of DC's most frightening villains, Grodd, in the upcoming episode of the hit superhero TV drama series "The Flash."

In the previous episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) and company were able to shell out the real person behind the brilliant scientist. No matter how well the plan laid out, the man in yellow is always "one step ahead" of them. Eobard Thawne managed to kidnap Eddie (Rick Cosnett) before the latter was able to propose to Iris (Candice Patton).

For this week's upcoming episode titled "The Grodd Lives," the Red Streak will be very busy as he tracks the whereabouts of Eddie, ensures the safety of his colleague, and not to mention the impending threat of Grodd.

A synopsis posted on The Futon Critic indicates that the evil speedster will make the matters worse for Central City's superhero as he will finally unleash the telekinetic gorilla that fans last saw killing General Wade.

Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) will head down to the sewers to confront the beast but the trio were easily subdued. Things went to escalate when Grodd kidnaps Joe.

With so many things going on at the moment, Barry will have to lay out the truth to Iris in a "heart to heart talk" perhaps to reveal who he really is.

"The Flash" Season 1 Episode 21 "Grodd Lives" airs this Tuesday, May 5, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
