'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers and Episode 2 Recap: Jay Garrick and Patty Spivot Are Introduced; Barry Helps the Snarts

On the next episode of "The Flash" entitled "Family of Rouges," the official synopsis reads, "Barry and the team learn Captain Cold has been kidnapped and then form an uneasy alliance with his sister. However, Barry feels double-crossed when he finds out Snart is working with his father, Lewis Snart, on a heist. Meanwhile, Joe faces a difficult decision."

In a promo for the episode, it seems that Snart is back and that he has been working with father Lewis Snart. It also seems that Barry might end up getting double-crossed while he helps the Snart family.

The previous episode began where the pilot left off when Jay Garrick arrived in the lab. He explained to everyone that their world was in danger. He went on to explain that a portal from his world was opened and that a man named Zoom was behind the metahumans that were trying to kill Barry. He also said that he was the flash in his world.

Barry had the team run some tests on Jay. Unfortunately, there was no way to prove if Jay was telling the truth or not. Professor Stien was excited to discover that the multiverse existed.

At the police station, a woman named Patty Spivot was trying to join Joe's anti-metahuman task force. As it turned out, Patty was a fan of Barry and the two shared a nerdy moment when Joe brought in a suspect after Barry had fought another metahuman from Jay's world named Sand Demon.

Barry remained wary of Jay, while Cisco had another vision of Barry as he fought the Sand Demon. Later on, Patty was kidnapped by the Sand Demon in order to lure the Flash out. Cisco used his developing abilities to learn where she was.

Barry teamed up with Jay and together they saved Patty. Patty revealed to Joe the real reason she was so hell bent on joining the task force. Joe accepted Patty.

The episode ended with Star Labs version of Earth 2 where Harrison Wells was being touted as the savior of the city.

"The Flash" airs every Tuesday.
