The Flash Season 3 Spoilers (Potential) – 'Kid Flash'! The Release Date, Cast Updates and Preview

The Flash Season 2 ended with a fight between Zoom (Teddy Sears) and Barry (Grant Gustin). Barry had to participate in the fight since Zoom threatened to kill his loved ones. However, despite Zoom's cunning gimmicks during the fight, Barry was successful in defeating him because Zoom was taken away by The Wraths.

Kid Flash

In the third season of the series, it is reported that Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will be 'Kid Flash' and will be joining as a sidekick to the superhero. In fact, in the finale of season 2, Wally's father, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) has been suspicious about Wally to be developing superpowers of his own right after an explosion at STAR labs. However, after the explosion, Wally has not showed any signs of powers of his own.

The event happened before Barry went back in time to save his mother Nora (Michelle Harrison) from being killed by the Reverse-Flash. So it means that history has been changed and disrupted the timeline. This only means that the world may be different once Barry goes back to the original time and no way of knowing on how Wally might have attained his special powers.

The premiere episode of the said series will be titled 'Flashpoint.' A new face will join the third season of the series. Tom Felton has joined the series and will portray Julian Dorn who will be a fellow CSI at Central City Police Department. Dorn will suspect that there is more to Barry Allen than just having a reputation as the good guy. Furthermore, in seeing Barry as The Flash, Julian will be out for something big.

While there is no hero counterpart for Julian Dorn in the DC Comics, it might be that he will play as the new "Barry" in the Flashpoint timeline since The Flash will be going back in time and will have no superpowers as yet. It could also mean that Felton will be playing a different character with a different name.

These may be some of the questions that may come up in what might happen for the next season. All these will be answered in fall once season 3 will be released. CW has announced that they renewed the contract for 'The Flash' and season 3 will premiere its first episode in October 4, 2016.
