'The Incredibles 2' Spoilers, Release Date: Jack-Jack Teams Up With Syndrome?

The beloved Pixar film "The Incredibles" is expected to return with a sequel to surprise audiences.

There are reports stating that the story of the upcoming film has already been completed. However, while there has yet to be any confirmation on the plot news of "The Incredibles 2," there are already many speculations as to what the upcoming film will be about.

It seems that there is a wide array of possibilities for the film as director Brad Bird spoke about his procress of creating the sequel. He explained that he had many ideas on what the sequel could cover, with some ideas he had thought of for the first installment.

According to MTV, Brad Bird stated, "I would like to think that I have several good ideas that could be incorporated into a next 'Incredibles,' but I don't have a whole movie yet, and the last thing I want to do is do it just because it would open big, or something like that."

There are rumors that the upcoming film could put a focus on the youngest Incredible, Jack-Jack. With his parents, Bob and Helen, retiring as superheroes, the crime fighting will be left for Dash and Violet. However, there is a possibility that Jack-Jack will become a villain and go head-to-head with his siblings.

This is because Jack-Jack was seen unable to control his powers at the end of the previous movie. With that, the upcoming film could center on him trying to get used to his powers. There is also a rumor that states he could begin working alongside the villain of the past film, Syndrome.

Nevertheless, it is likely that the film will feature the Incredible kids older than they appeared in the previous film. "The Incredibles" was released more than 10 years ago, making it 15 years by the time it hits the theaters.

"The Incredibles 2" is slated to premiere in theaters by June 2019.
