'The King of Fighters XIV' DLC Release Date: Oswald Confirmed for Game, 3 Others May Have Been Named as Well
Four more characters will make their way to "The King of Fighters XIV." One of them will be Oswald.
He is one of the three original characters that debuted in "The King of Fighters XI" as a member of the year's Hero Team along with Ash Crimson and Shen Woo.
Oswald is a bit of a mystery although he is known to be a professional hitman. He is described as a very serious man who will go to great lengths to achieve his goals.
However, in "The King of Fighters XIV" battlefield, Oswald's moves are opposite his personality with his moves described as a bit comical.
Oswald is among the last batch of characters coming to "The King of Fighters XIV." In an updated trailer, three other mystery characters are teased. An image by Atlus also shows silhouettes of the characters.
There is no word yet on who these mystery additions will be although a fan made an attempt to figure out by putting together overlayed sprites from previous games.
This led them to believe that the martial artist Heidern and Blue Mary could be rejoining "The King of Fighters XIV" roster. The former, known as the General of the Soldiers of Fortune, is a "cold-blooded killing machine" with a tragic past and eccentric fighting style.
The latter, on the other hand, is a "Fatal Fury" and "King of Fighters" character known to be a private detective. She is friendly, but always makes sure to put the job first.
The fourth character, the fan posits, could be Najd, a character created by winning fan in a design contest. She wears an "Abaya" possessed with a demon that she uses as weapon. The description for "The King of Fighters XIV" character reads:
The design of the "Abaya" makes her movement very easy. She wears a pair of modern design long leather gloves and boots to decrease damage, and the appearance of her skin while fighting.
She also wears "Hejab" (veil) on her head, but sometimes it falls down while fighting or making a strong move and she will put it back fast on her head after that. She also wears jewelry and a golden belt decorated with blue stones.
