'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: Phaedra Parks Returning to the Reality Show?

Television personality Phaedra Parks had left "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" following the May 7 reunion episode. For several months, there were rumors circulating that she had been asking to come back for the Bravo reality series' 10th season, but apparently, it is not true.

It can be recalled that she was fired from the show last year after she was caught spreading false rumors about co-star Kandi Burruss and her husband. Parks claimed that Burruss drugged their fellow cast member Porsha Williams, which resulted to host Andy Cohen, who called it a "megawatt lie," kicking her off the show.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly that although she has been in contact with the cast, Parks will not be returning for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 10, nor has she filmed anything for the season.

"Phaedra has been talking to some of the women of RHOA again but has not filmed any scenes so far," another insider reportedly told the publication. "They are still filming so anything could happen and there is room for a cameo but she has not returned and obviously still isn't part of the cast," the source added.

Cohen reportedly also said earlier this year that it would be difficult to shoot a series about a group of friends when, in fact, nobody is speaking to one of the friends.

"The question that we look at now with Phaedra is, when the reunion ended, none of the other women wanted to have anything to do with her. So that's what you have to look at," he explained.

In other news, NeNe Leakes just made her triumphant comeback to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and the first thing she did was go after her fellow cast member, Williams.

According to People, Leakes immediately set her sights on new her enemy during the reality show's season 10 premiere. The conflict still links back to last season's drama, where Williams was involved in spreading rumors about Burruss and her husband.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
