The Weeknd News: Singer's Lack of Time Caused Demise of Relationship with Selena Gomez, Source Claims

Lack of time for Selena Gomez caused the demise of The Weeknd's relationship with the "Bad Liar" singer, a source has claimed.

While many of Justin Bieber and Gomez's fans are ecstatic over the possibility of the once estranged lovers reconciling, it still remains unclear why Gomez and the guy she dated for almost 10 months, The Weeknd, called it quits. After all, the two's relationship seemed to be smooth-sailing, until it was reported earlier this week that they had already parted ways.

However, according to a source of Entertainment Tonight, The Weeknd's lack of time for Gomez was the culprit for the falling apart of their relationship. This, reportedly, was evident when Gomez underwent a kidney transplant last September, wherein she relied on her friends for support instead as her boyfriend was unwilling to drop his commitments.

"During the kidney stuff, Selena really relied on her friends as opposed to The Weeknd. He just wasn't really available to drop everything he had going on to be with her full-time," the incognito source of Entertainment Tonight revealed.

Apart from suggesting that The Weeknd was not supportive enough of Gomez during her kidney transplant, the same source alleged that Gomez's group of friends never really liked the singer at all.

"He was supportive and sweet of course, but it was really a journey with her and her friends, especially Francia (Raisa). He's not a part of the church group and didn't really mesh with her friends. And at this point, those friends and her faith mean everything to her," the source further revealed.

While the falling apart of Gomez's relationship with The Weeknd has her and Bieber's fans jubilating, another source has revealed, though, that it's a brand new relationship between the two. Nonetheless, even though the two have not reconciled yet, it is said that they are heading towards that direction as they enjoy spending a lot of their free time together, including biking around Los Angeles earlier this week.
