'Thor 3' Release Date, Plot Spoilers: The Hulk and Thor Will Fight Alongside in 'Ragnarok'

Marvel is already entering its Phase 3 in the summer of next year. With Captain America kicking off this phase, many are excited to find out what more can they see. Phase 3 will have the most introductory movies of different characters all set to join "Infinity War." It also includes the last movie of trilogies that was set for the original Avenger members. Since "Captain America: Civil War" has already wrapped up, and production is now set for "Doctor Strange," the next movie now in development is "Thor 3: Ragnarok."

According to Screen Rant, fans should prepare themselves for a darker story line. After all, the story is geared for Thor's fight to stop the end of the universe. Despite having a bit of humor in the past films, it's said that the third movie may completely have a serious tone throughout.

Rumors are circulating that due to the heavy plot and story line set for the third film, the Hulk may have to be accompanying Thor in this adventure. Sources of BMD say that the reason why the Hulk was added was due to the aformentioned dark story line. Screenplay writers Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle revealed that it makes it challenging to have the certain comedic trademark that all Marvel films have had before, and adding the Hulk into the formula makes this possible to do so. It's no surprise that another Avenger member is all in for the ride in the third installment of the "Thor" franchise such as Iron Man appearing in a major role alongside Captain America in his third movie.

The enemies that Thor and Hulk are reportedly to face in the upcoming movie would be the Valkyries. They are Nordian goddesses who choose fallen warriors in the battlefield, which they deem worthy to join them in their celebration in Valhala for the end of the universe. There isn't any news if there are any actresses already chosen for these roles but their physical appearances and costumes are Asgardian in nature.

For now, fans can look forward to hearing more news as the developments for the third movie continue. "Thor: Ragnarok" is set to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
