Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson End Feud After 'Heart to Heart'

"Fast and Furious" star Tyrese Gibson has moved past hating and bad mouthing co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson after a heart-to-heart talk with the actor's associate.

Gibson took to Instagram to share a photo of him, Johnson, and Vin Diesel. On its caption, he suggested that the beef is now over. Based on what the actor wrote, it seems like Johnson's associate was able to reach Gibson and encourage him to work things out, whatever it was that he might have said.

"Want you guys to know I️ had a real Heart to Heart with one of Dewayne's [sic] associates and this will be my last post about him........ I️ repeat my last.... I️ respect the associate who called," Gibson wrote on Instagram.

For the uninitiated, the veteran "Fast and Furious" actor was upset about the delay of the next installment in the franchise. The movie has been pushed back to 2020 to give way to a spin-off flick which Johnson and Jason Statham will star in.

Since the announcement was made, Gibson has been quite public about his distaste for the spin-off. He once said that Johnson has made the franchise all about him.

Things escalated quickly and just last Wednesday Gibson threatened to leave the franchise if Johnson is still part of the ninth film. Eventually, he admitted why he has been on edge lately. Gibson revealed that he was going through a custody battle with his ex-wife over their daughter, the ninth movie's delay hurt him financially. He said that he is almost broke and he still has piles of legal fees to tend to.

In an Instagram post, Gibson shared that he has privately relayed the information to Johnson.

Filmmaker Justin Lin, who has helmed four of the film in the franchise, is slated to direct the ninth movie.

"Fast and Furious 9" should air sometime in 2020.
