'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' Trailer Is A Blast With Lots Of Supernatural Power-Ups.

Fans of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" are excited about the fact that the game is going to have many supernatural elements thrown in.

The trailer released during the PlayStation media briefing at Paris Games Week was an action-packed blast, but what took everybody by surprise was that Elena suddenly catches fire like Firestorm in "The Flash" and zooms off while Nathan Drake calls on an ancient El Dorado object that looks like a sarcophagus.

Fan were really excited about the supernatural power-ups. As with the previous installments of "Uncharted," the supernatural elements are there but on a larger scale, as glimpsed from the trailer. It seems very realistic when Elena uses the supernatural power-ups to become a torched lady and teleports herself.

At the end of the trailer, Nathan Drake summons an ancient sarcophagus and releases the Wrath of El Dorado to help him get out of a corner. The ancient sarcophagus readily obliges and rains spectres that hunt down the enemy. The effects of the supernatural power-ups last for a few seconds but players can unlock modifiers and extend its life.

Gamers may recall the El Dorado sarcophagus from the previous "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune."

The trailer rarely shows Nathan Drake alone. All his teammates, Elena, Chloe and Sully, are with him most of the times.

One of the other supernatural power-ups is the Cintamani Stone from "Among Thieves." This super stone gives gamers two abilities – the first one allows the gamer to heal teammates within range and the second, it gives gamers the ability to teleport short distances by gaining the Spirit of the Djinn.

The other factor that is striking as seen from the trailer is the map of the game. The jungle and the ravines are pure "Uncharted" but with a lot of verticality. Gamers can climb up ledges and stone walls, go down ravines and roof tops with surprising smoothness. Whether this will translate to the game remains to be seen.

To check out the 'Mysticals' of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," gamers can go to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer open beta for the PS4 that starts December 4 and will remain open till December 13.
