Upcoming Android Phones 2015: New Oppo Smartphone to Flaunt Bezel-Less Display?

Oppo is one of the more popular brands in the Chinese market due to its unique design and features in its mobile phones. The smartphone that placed it on the map was the Oppo N1, which boasts a rotating camera. Now, it appears the mobile brand is aiming to captivate market once more with an upcoming mobile device.

While there are no details about the phone model or even some specs, a new report allegedly reveals a patent filed by Oppo.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Chinese manufacturer has filed a patent that would enable it to exclusively use a "special light guide structure."

This would allow the phone maker to develop smartphones with extremely slim bezels.

Once this technology becomes available and effective, this may be the beginning of a new age in the era of mobile devices.

Based on the report, the patent was filed by Oppo as early as December 2014, which could mean that the device getting it may actually be in its final stages of development already.

About this time last year, Oppo has announced its two high-end devices – the Find 7 and the Find 7a, both of which feature a 5.5-inch display, but with varying specs.

Oppo is a Chinese brand that provides electronic needs to the world's largest market. In spite its unique designs and high-end devices, the company is unlike most Chinese companies.

That is because it often charges a higher rate compared to its rivals in China. As a result, Oppo has already expanded its market overseas throughout the Southeast Asian region.
