Walking Dead Season 7B Premiere Live Stream (Spoilers, AMC Promo): Watch New Episode 'Rock In the Road' Online

The Walking Dead Season 7 mid-season premiere takes place on Sunday night and it looks like fans will finally get to see the gang rise up and fight back against the Saviors after weeks of being beaten down. The new episode is titled "Rock In the Road" and has a scheduled start time of 9 p.m. ET. The Walking Dead Season 7 mid-season premiere can be watched as usual on TV on the AMC network, or online through live stream (details below).

The official synopsis for the next eight episodes of Season 7 has revealed that "we'll meet new survivors in incredible places."

It is believed that one of those will be the person who has been spying on Alexandria, as seen in the last episode, the Season 7 mid-season finale. So fans can expect some fresh faces, and no doubt some fresh blood to be put up for a gory second half of Season 7.

There are also questions surrounding the future of Sonequa Martin-Green. AMC has been adamant that she remains a series regular, however, there have been escalating rumors that she will be meeting her demise sometime in the coming eight episodes.

Those rumors have been fueled a lot by the news that she was offered the lead in CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery. Putting two and two together, fans believe that the actress will soon be on her way out of TWD to take up her role in "Discovery". However, of course AMC has not confirmed anything.

One huge hint from the Season 7B synopsis is that fans will get to see "treachery from people we trust." That obviously indicates that there will be some big-time back-stabbing in the upcoming episodes, and some tense betrayal is at foot. But who will be betrayed and who will be the betrayer? That all remains to be seen, and no doubt those behind TWD will keep up guessing until the final minute, and until then it would appear everyone remains a suspect.

Specifically for tonight's Walking Dead Season 7B premiere episode, we will see Rick and his gang meet a new group of survivors who they will ask for help to take down Negan.

Michonne and Maggie are the ones at the forefront of the impending rebellion, and even though we'll have to watch to see how that pans out, no doubt we'd do well to get ourselves ready for some serious bloodshed as the second half of Season 7 promises to be among the most dramatic and bloody we've seen yet.

What we do know, however, is that Season 7 will not ultimately end with a "traditional cliffhanger." Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, has described the uprising of the Alexandrians as a "joyful rebellion," and has indicated that a major cliffhanger will not be happening at the season's close.

He has said, "It is big and satisfying, I hope. It's a lot of story strands coming together. There's a bit more of an ending. There's definitely a promise of the next turn of the story," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The upcoming episodes will also feature a variety of plotlines, according to Gimple. He has said some episodes will tell numerous stories in one go, while others adopt a more focused direction.

Character-driven storylines will also take center stage, with a particularly "surprising arc" set for Eugene (Josh McDermitt).

The Walking Dead Season 7B premiere will air on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 9 p.m. ET. The episode can be watched on TV on the AMC network or online through AMC.com by clicking here.
