What is Kim Kardashian's Ketogenic Weight Loss Diet?

Kim Kardashian-West followed her ketogenic weight loss diet religiously and has now lost 75 pounds.

Although many look up to the reality star as a style and beauty icon, she has been a recipient of fat-shaming and has felt insecure about it. After unflattering photos of her booty from her trip to Mexico surfaced, this Kardashian reportedly decided to go on a high-fat moderate protein ketogenic diet to improve her image.

"Kardashian has shared that she enjoys protein such as salmon, green vegetables such as spinach, and even high-fat foods such as butter while banning sugar and starchy carbohydrates such as bread," Diet Doctor reports.

After giving birth to two children, North and Saint West, she has managed to lose a total of 75 pounds. As witnessed in her respective Halloween costumes as Cher and Selena, her hard work has paid off.

When asked by a fan about her cheat days, whether or not she goes all out or take it easy, Kardashian said that she does the latter. According to her, binging is not worth it. On the other hand, she also cannot take in too much junk as she now gets easily sick whenever she does.

In the latest episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," the reality star revealed that she has been doing a new exercise routine aside from a "really crazy diet."
Elsewhere in the episode, she told momager, Kris Jenner, that she wanted to work with bodybuilder Melissa Alcantara, whom she follows on Instagram.

"I really want to meet up with her and see if she can train me, she can help direct my food and help really get me on an amazing path," Kardashian said.

"If I was 10 percent like her it would be life-changing. I've gotta have this lifestyle — I've gotta try," she added.
