The new operating system from the Richmond, Wa.-based tech behemoth, Windows 10, has been wildly anticipated by for many months now and finally, its release date has been announced.

A report from Mirror U.K. said that Microsoft's upcoming OS, which leaped from Windows 8, will start to roll out this July 29. It will come as a free upgrade to PC or Windows users who are currently using Windows 7 or the current OS.

To get the new firmware update, users need to check an icon appearing in their notification trays which prompts them to reserve free copy of the software.
