As for Grant, it has been revealed that he will be playing the role of a villain who is said to be a mad-scientist type. While it is yet to be announced if his character will be derived from the comic books or if it will be molded solely for the sequel, fans are excited to see how he will perform.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grant is known in the British entertainment realm for various projects such as "Jekyll & Hyde." He also appeared in some television shows such as "Doctor Who" and "Girls."

There are other actors who are still negotiating to be part of the much-anticipated film and according to Movie Web, production hinted last week that it is looking for an actress to play mutant X-23's role.

The upcoming film will be Hugh Jackman's last take on his iconic role as Wolverine. When he made the sad announcement, fans expressed sadness and disappointment as the issue on his replacement was raised. On the other hand, many were pleased when it was reported that the movie will be telling the famous "Old Man Logan" arc wherein Wolverine has retired from being a superhero but is forced to take on his blades one last time due to some personal issues that he has to fix.

"Wolverine 3" will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
