WWE: Kota Ibushi Signs Contract for WWE; Will Head to the NXT After Cruiserweight Classic

"The Golden Star" of Japan, Kota Ibushi has signed an NXT deal with WWE.

Ibushi is the former New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and is currently a participant to the Cruiserweight Classic and who is one of the first to sign up for the WWE from the said tournament. It only took him one match to sign up for WWE.

Kota Ibushi faced Sean Maluta in the first episode of the Cruiseweight Classic which Ibushi came out victorious in the match of the night. Ibushi also performed in an NXT live event as his ring debut against Buddy Murphy which he won.

A Well-Balanced Wrestler

WWE knows what they get with Kota Ibushi, as a well- known wrestler positioned to be one of the biggest stars of CWC.

In and out of the ring, Ibushi is a wild card and his creative genius makes him go all the way up as he goes along. Eversince 2007, Ibushi has been a part of Match of the Year classics, a fearsome fighter and a world class high flyer. Ibushi does know how to take and knows how hit to the next level with his drama. He also has been tagged by many as the tournament winner.

The greatest thing about Ibushi is his first-time matches wins. He does it well and he clicks right away with opponents and delivers good matches in all fights. The drama is always well handled.

As a newly added list to the NXT roster, Kota Ibushi is one of the most technically skilled wrestlers in the world. Thus having been signed in to the NXT universe, he will be famously acclaimed. He will be the top star for the brand if he will be the first Cruiseweight Classic winner.

With Ibushi's history with other current stars, such as Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura, the NXT roster will be honored to have him. A well-documented match for Ibushi was with Itami when they wrestled in Kenta in New Japan. As part of the NXT roster, both wrestlers will have the chance to continue their rivalry in the next tournament.

On the first night of programming for WWE, Kota Ibushi already stole the hearts of many. WWE surely has big plans for Ibushi in the ring. Kota Ibushi is destined for greatness and stardom being "The Golden Star" of Japan.
