The news of Justin Bieber's arrest in Miami for drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license Thursday morning has sent his legions of fans on Twitter, 40 million strong, into a tailspin.

The 19-year-old pop star was arrested by Miami Beach Police at 4:11am after being stopped for drag racing a rented yellow Lamborghini, going "up to 60" miles per hour in a 30 mph residential neighborhood. Bieber reportedly had "droopy eyes" and slow speech as officers approached him.

In response to the news, these "Beliebers" have tweeted out prayers for their hero, who has professed a faith in Jesus Christ and sports a tattoo based on Psalm 119. ("Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.")

Here are 10 of these petitions to God, which range from asking for the Canadian singer's safety, to one Belieber pleading to bear his struggles so he won't have to be "sad."
