Daystar Television Network founder and president Marcus Lamb died of complications from COVID-19 at age 64.

A native of Georgia, Lamb began his preaching career at age 15 in 1973 and in the 1980s became a traveling missionary alongside his wife, Joni Trammell.

Lamb oversaw the launching of Daystar back in 1997, with the influential station having reportedly reached tens of millions of households in the United States alone.

“He will be greatly missed,” stated Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, in November.

"For all those who put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have that assurance of being with God for eternity in Heaven. Marcus is now in the presence of His Lord and Savior.”
