North Carolina Pastor Ben Marsh, who shared a copy of Butler’s resignation letter, called out what he described as a “mob” mentality among Butler’s critics.
Marsh tweeted: “The fella who wrote that book about sex stuff was broadly criticized both by people inside and outside the camp leading [him] to make changes to future editions. He also resigned from his church to focus on the book. But somehow the mob was wrong?”
"I'm sorry I'm just still stuck on trying to identify the mob and how exactly the mob was wrong for pointing out the flaws with this book which he himself now admits needs to be changed."
