5 Bible Verses That Will Give You Courage When You Feel Lonely

Credit :

Everyone at one point or another will walk through the "darkest valley" of loneliness, and should look to these five Bible verses to remember that they are never alone — God is always by their side.

1. Deuteronomy 31:6

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (NIV)

2. Psalm 27:10

"Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me."

3. Psalm 23:4

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

4. Philippians 4:5-7

"Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

5. Isaiah 40: 28-30

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall."
