5 Christian reactions to Coco Gauff’s prayer after winning 1st Grand Slam title at US Open

Georgia State Sen. Derek Mallow, a Democrat, also posted on X that it was clear that Gauff was pausing for prayer.

“While facing a major moment we can see @CocoGauff pause for prayer," he wrote.

"Often before a big day in the General Assembly, I stop for a moment and pray, gather myself, and remind myself to trust God in the process. Never think everything is so busy you can’t stop and pray. I’m glad to remind myself of this."
