Planned Parenthood and StemExpress

In 2015, investigative journalists with the Center for Medical Progress exposed Planned Parenthood's selling of fetal body parts to biotech firms and universities by releasing several undercover videos and transcripts showing abortion providers and executives admitting that their clinics profit off the sale of babies' tissue, organs and limbs. The videos also detailed abortion clinics’ relationships with procurement groups, including StemExpress.

Longbons noted that in 2016, a House Select Investigative Committee examined allegations regarding fetal tissue sales and issued several criminal referrals against multiple entities to the U.S. Department of Justice.
