1. UFO disclosure: 'Their goal is to supplant Christianity'

The two began their conversation by touching on the hot-button issue of UFO disclosure and the existence of supposed extraterrestrials, which Ripperger told Ryan earlier this year are often "diabolic in nature."

Ryan read from recent alien-related news stories, such as Vice President JD Vance weighing in on their potentially spiritual nature, a group of Charismatic pastors claiming they were briefed by U.S. officials about them, the archbishop of Washington removing a prominent exorcist who claimed they are demons, and Steven Spielberg touching on their theological implications.

He asked Ripperger to explain the "sudden fascination within our government and a sped-up timeline in UFO and disclosure release that coincides with Hollywood."

Ripperger said he viewed much of the latest government disclosures and cultural fixation on the topic as a potentially coordinated spiritual effort to offer an alternative origin story and "salvation" for humanity.

"Ultimately, I don't know why they're going to do it, other than it's just another aspect of trying to control people psychologically, or to manipulate people," he said, adding that there could be forces involved who want to undermine Christianity.

"My suspicion is that many of the people in government are anti-Christian, and their goal is to supplant Christianity with an alternative explanation of our origins and things of that sort," he said.

Echoing claims he made earlier this year, Ripperger suggested there is an overlap between occultism and supposed alien encounters. He noted that communication with such entities often takes place via occult practices such as astral projection, and is usually deceptive. He recommended the 2004 book Alien Intrusion by Christian apologist Gary Bates, which includes accounts of abduction scenarios that abruptly cease when the individual cries out to Jesus Christ.
