5 reactions to the Hunter Biden verdict

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., generally seen as one of the more conservative members of the U.S. House of Representatives with a noted libertarian streak, shared his thoughts on the Hunter Biden verdict in an X post Tuesday.

"Hunter might deserve to be in jail for something, but purchasing a gun is not it," he wrote, expressing dissatisfaction with the substance of the verdict.

"There are millions of marijuana users who own guns in this country, and none of them should be in jail for purchasing or possessing a firearm against current laws," he proclaimed.
