CeCe Winans has an adult son named Alvin Love III who she's had to learn to trust as a mother. Last year, that meant trusting him with her career when he wrote and produced much of her latest album, Let Them Fall in Love.
"It was challenging for me saying, 'Wow, I got to listen to him,'" Winans told The Christian Post with a laugh. "Him saying, 'No mom, you can't do that, do it again, do it better. I was like, 'this is weird. But I tried to be a good client and a good artist, and I submitted to my producer even though he was my son."
