Kiki Freedman, co-founder and CEO of Hey Jane, an organization that delivers abortion-inducing drugs to women through the mail, celebrated the FDA’s approval of the generic form of mifepristone. 

“By expanding generic options, the agency is reinforcing mifepristone’s impeccable safety record,” Freedman said in a statement to The Guardian. “At a time when politically motivated attacks threaten to undermine science and restrict care, it’s critical to underscore that the science couldn’t be clearer.”
