The Trump administration has been fielding intense criticism from many prominent figures in the Democratic Party for its crackdown on illegal immigration in places such as Minnesota.
Maintaining a strong border and removing criminal illegal immigrants from the U.S. was once a key pillar of the Democratic Party's platform, and despite their heated rhetoric, many of the same Democratic politicians who now rail against aspects of federal immigration enforcement once warned against the consequences of unrestrained illegal immigration.
