5. 'The Sheep Detectives' (Streaming now on Prime Video)

Adapted from Leonie Swann's novel Three Bags Full, this whimsical mystery follows a flock of sheep determined to solve the murder of their beloved shepherd.

Directed by Kyle Balda and featuring an all-star voice cast led by Hugh Jackman, the film blends cozy mystery, gentle humor and surprisingly profound spiritual themes.

Though playful on the surface, the story explores grief, friendship, sacrifice and the enduring relationship between a shepherd and his flock, making it an excellent conversation starter for families.
