“The Prince of Egypt: The Musical” will be released by NBCUniversal to stream on Dec 5.

“The Prince of Egypt: The Musical’ was filmed live at London’s Dominion Theatre. It's filled with stunning stage performances of the biblical story of Moses and moving music of multi-Grammy and Academy Award-winning Stephen Schwartz. 

Featuring a cast and orchestra of 60 performers, the production is touted as "one of the biggest musicals ever staged." “The Prince of Egypt: The Musical” is based on the classic DreamWorks Animation. 

“This epic, critically acclaimed production tells an inspiring tale of resilience and hope. Journey through the wonders of Ancient Egypt as two young men, raised together as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh, the other must rise up and free his true people; both face a destiny that will change history forever,” the synopsis reads.
