In an opinion column published by Fox News on Oct. 20, former chairman of the California Republican Party Tom Del Beccaro claimed that Trump pointed to 10 “tea leaves” that indicated a Trump election win.

These included a decreased voter registration edge for Democrats in Florida and Pennsylvania, increased support for Trump among Latinos and African Americans, Biden’s tax policies, an alleged enthusiasm gap between the two major campaigns, early voting results in Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, higher voter satisfaction, according to polls, increased party identification for Republicans, and surveyed voters largely believing Trump would win.

“All of this indicates that President Trump may well surprise his doubters on November 3rd and win again,” wrote Del Beccaro.
