ABWE to host Medical Missions Exposition
The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) will be hosting a regional Missions Exposition on March 6, 2004 from 8AM to 4PM at the Berean Baptist Church.
Anyone who wants to become involved in being part of a team of medical short-term missionaries, including those who want to learn how to better support those who go are encouraged to participate in the day-long intensive seminar. Through the seminar, participants can find out how to be serve others at home or in a distant land in order to demonstrate God’s love for them through an outreach of compassion.
The course will be led by Dr. Bruce Steffes, a general surgeon from North Carolina with an MBA, and Dr. Bob Cropsey, a career missionary surgeon with ABWE serving in Togo at the Karolyn Kempton Memorial Christian Hospital.
