The Hollywood actress, 38, surprised onlookers in Sydney when she emerged wearing double rings, one of which was a gold band that reportedly once belonged to actor Brad Pitt's great grandmother, according to Grazia magazine. In July Pitt, 49, reportedly met with the couple's wedding planner in France and fans are now speculating whether the pair may have secretly wed.

"The rumor around town is that Brad and Angelina will finally have their wedding. Local shops have been contacted for some supplies and they finally finished construction on their property," a source told X17 Online back in July. "It looks like it could really happen this time."

Jolie and Pitt, who have been together for seven years, confirmed their engagement in April. The couple previously vowed to wed only after the legalization of same-sex marriage. In June, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), ultimately ruling that same-sex couples who are legally married in a state may receive federal benefits.

Weeks after the DOMA ruling, sources claimed the Hollywood power couple had finalized wedding plans, with reports claiming they would tie the knot at their $60 million southern France estate. Construction at the 35-bedroom French Château Miraval was reportedly complete in June.

"It's a place that they all absolutely adore. With the vineyards and the gorgeous wide-open spaces, they will really be able to create a dream wedding, right on their own property," a source previously told OK! Magazine regarding the French property.

In May Jolie, who underwent a double mastectomy in February, reportedly told friends that she and the "World War Z" actor would get married "soon," particularly because their children were described as being eager to watch them exchange vows.

"Angie is keen on a wedding and the kids are clamoring for a marriage and keep asking Brad and Angie when it's happening," a source previously told the Daily Mail. "Brad has been caught up in production turmoil with his new film World War Z, so there's been no wedding planning as a result, but Angie has said it will happen sooner rather than later."

Jolie and Pitt have yet to publicly address reports of a secret wedding.
