'Arrow' Season 3 Finale News, Spoilers: Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim Clarifies Rumors About 'Cliff-Hanger' Ending
Fans of the The CW's hit crime-fighting TV drama series "Arrow" were served with rumors saying that the show's upcoming Season 3 finale may end with in a cliff-hanger. However, in an interview with the series executive producer Marc Guggenheim, it was revealed that this might not be the case at all.
"The Season 3 finale of Arrow is very definitive. It really feels like the end, not just of season 3, but of the first three seasons," the executive producer told The International Business Times.
This is the same thing that he said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. However, Guggenheim added that some elements on the season ender were purposely integrated in preparation for the next chapter.
"Now that we're working on season four, there are plot threads and notions from the season finale that get pulled into season four. It really does function on both levels, much more so than previous season finales," Guggenheim said.
Probing further about the details of the upcoming segment, the showrunner teases that fans should brace themselves for unexpected plot twists.
"This has probably been one of our twistier ends of the year," he said.
Speaking of ending, Guggenheim informed the people of Entertainment Weekly that avid followers of the show should also anticipate for someone to die during the finale.
"There will be one death in the finale. It will definitely stick," he revealed.
"Arrow" Season 3 finale episode titled "My Name is Oliver Queen" airs this Wednesday, May 13 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
